Film & Edit around JC

This week our President, Christopher Jefferson took the mentees around Jersey City to stretch their creative wings by filming at some locations around the heights. They were challenged to create a film of their choice using the same locations. They came our great!!!

Cooking Class

This week our President, Christopher Jefferson showed the mentees some basics of cooking a balance meal at an affordable price.

A Trip to Castle Loop

Over the holiday weekend, our President, Christopher Jefferson took some of the mentees on a hike to the Ramapo Mountains around Castle loop.

MWJC Holiday Giveaway

Our Mentees volunteered in the sorting and transport of the items for our MWJC Holiday Giveaway pop up shops as well as helped distribute to over 400 families throughout Jersey City!

Congressional Caucus on Black Innovation

This week our President, Christopher Jefferson brough along one of his mentees to join him at the Congressional Caucus on Black Innovation in Washington DC. They were able to meet with legislators and leaders in community service to speak with congress on what resources and services are needed.
